About

Keith Dominque says, “Kinda wish I’d been around in the early ‘70s, back when it was all about the singer/songwriter. When all you needed to capture people’s hearts was your voice, a guitar or piano, and a story to tell. I’d like to bring back some of that spirit.”

And that is just what Keith set out to do on his new album, “Brand New Horizon”, a collection of rootsy, piano-driven pop tunes. Eschewing gimmicks and trendiness in favor of stirring melodies and evocative lyrics, this is an album that aims to exist somewhere outside of time, while still capturing the emotions and concerns of everyday life.

Keith began playing piano at the ripe young age of four. As a shy kid growing up in Lowell, Massachusetts who never quite fit in, Keith always found solace in music. Spending most of his teenage years listening to records while also practicing singing and writing songs, Keith largely kept his musical activities hidden from the outside world. However, he would eventually discover these pursuits to be an effective way of connecting with others. By college, Keith was performing both solo and in bands, winning over the often fickle college crowds with his original material. After a brief stint as the keyboardist for an alt-country band, Keith decided to focus primarily on his own solo efforts.

Keith can often be seen performing in various venues in and around his home base of Lowell, Massachusetts. Like in his songwriting, the objective of his performances is always the same...to make a connection with folks. It is his belief that there is no way to achieve this more powerfully than with a song.
